ICT promotes greater collaboration among students and encourages communication and the sharing of knowledge. ICT gives rapid and accurate feedbacks to students and this contributes towards positive motivation. It also allows them to focus on strategies and interpretations of answers rather than spend time on tedious computational calculations. For a successful integration of ICT into the mathematics curriculum, it is essential to have knowledge of the existing software that is used by mathematics teachers.

Webquest Bagi Mata Pelajaran ICT

Perkembangan ICT yang telah menukar wajah P&P melalui penggunaan komputer,LCD dan pelbagai perisian multimedia yang canggih.  Pelajar dapat akses kepada pelbagai jenis maklumat dari pelbagai sumber.Ia meliputi "belajar tentang ICT" dan "belajar dengan ICT".  Untuk memastikan setiap pelajar dapat menguasai subjek ini dalam masa yang lebih cepat, enam komponen Webquest telah direka bentuk untuk pembelajaran yang berpusatkan pelajar dengan menggunakan internet.  Kelebihannya ialah kandungan dan maklumat yang disampaikan adalah teratur, memudahkan pembelajaran, menarik perhatian untuk belajar, tidak membosankan dan memudahkan pelajar membuat rujukan.  Kesimpulannya saranan kerajaan Malaysia supaya mengaplikasi ICT di sekolah sangat tepat setanding dengan negara maju yang lain di dunia.

Integration Of ICT In Education

Many important changes have occured in the last few years in the education systems, which will require teachers and school leaders to upgrade and refine their technology skills.  Leaders need to develop teachers' skill in using ICT for teaching, solving problems, making decisions and interacting in order to enhance the pedagogical methods.  Many teachers lacked meaningful opportunities to acquire the skills needed to meet the desired ICT outcomes.  Hence, a challenge for technology leaders is to provide responsive and flexible professional development appointments that focus on technology integration and design rather than computer application alone.  Therefore school leaders should have an awareness on obstacles that limit ICT integration and translate the knowledge into effective approaches of leadership.
